The Pattern based art and products are made by Dutch graphic designer Karin Verputten who graduated cum laude from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1989.

After 30 years of commissioned work, the time was right to rediscover her personal visual language. Working intuitive and without an end goal, the graphic patterns formed, at first tightly in their grid, but later the patterns started to have a mind of their own. These unique patterns are captured in the Giclée art prints.

Curaçao, where Karin grew up and later lived and worked for many years, fueled her love for color. She is also passioned about Japanese architecture and crafts in which the attention to details and respect for beautiful materials come to live. This inspires her to only use the finest, high-quality and sustainable materials and work with local manufacturers.
